Everything you need to seat the room
Built for real venues and real guest lists — not a generic drawing tool.
Auto-spaced chairs
Set the guest count and chairs space themselves evenly around each table — and cap automatically so you never overcrowd.
Drawn to scale
Enter your room size in feet. Tables stay to scale against the venue, so the layout actually fits on the day.
Round & banquet tables
Round tables ring their chairs evenly; rectangle tables seat banquet-style down the long sides, with optional head and foot seats.
Assign every guest
Type names straight into each seat. Filled seats turn green, so you can see at a glance who still needs a spot.
Move & rotate freely
Drag tables anywhere on the floor, rotate them to fit the room, and add labels for the dance floor, bar, or entrance.
Export a PDF
Hand your venue a clean, table-by-table guest list in one click — grouped by table number, ready to print.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wedding seating chart maker really free?
Yes — the planner is free to use with no signup and no watermark on your PDF. There's an optional one-time $2.99 upgrade that removes ads, if you'd like a distraction-free workspace.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your chart saves automatically in your own browser (local storage), so you can close the tab and come back to it later on the same device. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Can I export my seating chart?
Yes. One click exports a clean, table-by-table guest list as a PDF — grouped by table number and ready to hand to your venue or day-of coordinator.
How many guests fit at each table?
Chairs space themselves automatically and are capped by table size. As a rule of thumb a 60-inch round seats about 8, a 72-inch round seats about 10, and an 8-foot banquet table seats 8–10. See our table sizes guide for the full chart.
Will my chart be lost if I close the browser?
No — it's saved on your device and restored when you return. Clearing your browser data (or using a different device) will start a fresh chart, so export a PDF once you're happy with it.
Ready to seat your family?
Free to use. No signup. Export a PDF when you're done.
